Ceramic Engineer and Teacher, Phil Berenburg taught how to make a beautiful, precisely fitted box and explored the many other possibilities of slab pottery. Phil, who works out of Glen Echo Pottery and creates alot of ikibana vessels, talked about the molecular makeup of the clay and reasons for warping, separating and other common injustices in the clay.
