Juror's Statement

The work of Montgomery Potters offers a diverse range of firing techniques and styles. The exhibit contains a nice range of both functional, as well as non-functional elements, and encompasses traditional as well as non-traditional pieces.

About Jeff Kirk

Jeff Kirk is the Director of Glen Echo Pottery which was established in 1975. He teaches beginning through advanced hand-building and wheel thrown pottery full time. He specializes in high temperature reduction, soda, and raku firing techniques. Many of his students have become studio artists, and are nationally renowned.
